All About Cigars

Cigars are among the most popular talismans of classical masculinity. Cigars have tended to be featured in films as part of the standard gear for the alpha male or even the "cool female". Cigars are nothing but rolled tobacco, and so it is a wonder how it can do what it does to people.

It is easy to make the error of considering the use of cigars an insignificant vice. Enthusiasts understand the value of a great roll, though. No self-respecting cigar lover would be without one when a special occasion arises.

Smoking sessions are ones promoting camaraderie to such people. Cigars have become the basis of bonds on many occasions. Cigar smokers love to have conversations about their favorite makers.

The most popular puffs are grown and imported from Brazil, Cameroon and Cuba. Many warm-climate countries produce fantastic leaves of tobacco, like Nicaragua. There are relatively fewer pieces of restrictive legislation pertaining to the importation of cigars into US soil.

These items are sold as self-serve items in local convenience stores, pharmacies and grocery stores, as well as in a few restaurants, hotel shops, vending machines, and online. You have to go to a vendor who specializes in them to get the dearer ones, though. High-grade products may be obtained from high-class stores and vendors.

Perhaps the dearest offerings come from the Altadis company, which is also the biggest company in this industry. Altadis mainly relies on its consumers in countries like the US and Dominican Republic for profits. Altadis also produces cigarettes.

Swedish Match, second only to Altadis in terms of size, is one more influential brand. The company has factories all over the globe. Swedish Match's other products are more or less related to cigar and cigarette usage too.

Perhaps the third most sought-out cigars are those made by the Fuente Family from the Dominican Republic. With a hundred years of experience behind it, this particular brand's most famous offerings are the Montesino and Arturo Fuente. It also recently came out with the Fuente Fuente OpusX, a true cigar of note in the DR's cigar industry.

Meanwhile, the oldest cigar manufacturer from the same Latin American country is the León family. They have spent more than a hundred years of working in the cigar industry. Many enthusiasts regard them highly for products such as the León Jimenes.

There is no indication that cigars will ever go out of style. Cigars are currently understood to be fairly expensive items now. Smoking cigars puts you in a category of people that include Churchill and Freud.
